What is this blog about?

Who is Shiken? Why cake and cookiecutters? Where am I?!

Well, this started out as me making a game-related blog to pair with my resume to show game-related experience when applying at game companies, but has turned into an actual project I'm enjoying very much. You see, ever since I played and quit my favorite mmorpg, Ragnarok Online, I have an addiction to trying new mmorpgs to try and fill in that gap, raving about them for a couple weeks trying to get as many people to join me in them as possible, eventually losing interest, and quitting. My regular test subjects- er, game hopping buddies have taken to calling it my mmo flavor of the month, which is what inspired my blog name. I intend to document all of my mmo hopping adventures and do semi-reviews as I go, with pros and cons of each game. It's not very fleshed out atm, but feel free to comment on games you've played, and check back regularly for new reviews!

Perhaps by reading my likes about a game, you'll give it a try too, perhaps by reading the reasons I quit, you'll decide to stay away. I'm not here to sugar-coat or promote games, but to give an honest opinion to you, the players, from an actual player, not a paid reviewer. Enjoy!
